Sheesh. Could this series be any better? Honestly, it felt like I was watching a really well-plotted movie. The visuals were so clear and the emotions were so visceral, there were moments where I think I forgot to breathe. This is the way every book should be written. I am eagerly awaiting August and the final book to see how it all goes down. What a great f**king ride!

This book 🥰. The only word I can think to describe it is: tender. Honestly, I finished it several days ago, and I can't stop thinking about it. The way the MCs care for one another, and the absolute depth of their love and friendship is so damn aspirational. The author did an amazing job of threading the needle from the time Lucky and Ellis first met as kids, to their choices through adulthood. Everything revolving around queerness and neurodiversity was handled in such a loving way, and while I kept waiting for the "other shoe to drop", it never did. This is just a truly adoring study of what love can and should be. 💖
