I enjoy a solid lore/fae-based story, and a dark, creepy vibe, and this book had both of those in abundance! The content and trigger warnings for this one were extensive, so pay attention to them and adjust accordingly. I am definitely interested in how the rest of the series plays out. 👀 There were a lot of questions left unanswered (which I'm sure will be addressed in the future), and watch the cliff! She be mighty! 🥴

I think the strength behind Perkins and Vance's writing lies in their ability to make readers care about every one of their on-page characters. The way they build relationships that feel authentic, even though the cast is made up of supernatural creatures, is pretty dang impressive. 😍 And the humor is next level. 🤣🤣 I adore this series, and this book specifically, because Summer is such a great foil to Max, and also, they are really hot together. 🔥🔥🔥😏
