this book took me by surprise. it’s one of the books i feel so connected to— no doubt i got attached to the characters.
i didn’t really give it 5 stars because i didn’t really love the insta-love trope, but i enjoyed their romance. i also guessed the major plot twist, so it didn’t really blew my mind off as other people say it will. it was dark— very dark, but not scary. though, at some times i felt scared for the main character and her love interest.
i definitely sobbed at the end; it was so selfless of her to do that.
in summary, this book made me suffocate in the best way possible. the atmosphere felt very real.

academic rivals to lovers did not exist until this book. today tonight tomorrow is literally the cutest thing ever. my cheekbones hurt from smiling.
both of the characters were relatable— especially neil. i relate to him so much to the point that it’s concerning.
i would’ve given it 5-stars if the setting wasn’t the 1-day timeline thing. it felt like everything was rushed, and it kind of ruined the reading experience. i personally hated that element, but overall i still loved the novel.

macyelliot is my favorite word.
how is it possible that this book made me feel all the emotions and made me feel numb at the same time ? this book left me sobbing, laughing, and screaming all at once. love and other words is the exact type of book that will leave you staring at your wall and think “what did i read” in the most positive way possible.
i loved the concept of this book— where both the girl and the guy are bookworms and can talk about their books as much as possible without awkward silence. i also related to the both of them in several ways and got attached. maybe that is the reason why i felt all the emotions reading this book.
i will never recover from this book ever again. it will be my whole personality, and i would not be sorry for it.

i don’t read classics as often. i find them harder to read, so to get into classics, i tried to reread one of my favorite classics— and it still stands out.
little women is filled with comfort characters with diverse personalities. i got attached to most of the characters which barely happens.
people might get overwhelmed by the length of this book— and i totally get that. my copy has 507 pages as my average pages last year were around 350 pages. reading little women was definitely a huge move, but worth it.
if you’re trying to get into classics, i highly recommend reading little women.

similarly to other people who read this series, i was not a huge fan of colm in the previous books— especially fearless king. however, his character development was the best out of all the characters in this series. he redeemed himself by the very end, and i have never been prouder of a fictional man before. his character was a very important representation, especially to people dealing with grief and severe trauma.
i must say, out of all the books in this series, this is probably the most realistic one. though i don’t think i’ll be in this situation (and i never wish to), i can see a lot of people going through the same thing. and i really liked that element of this book, it made me cry, laugh, and overall had a wonderful time reading it.
like other readers, i’m not a huge fan of the pregnancy trope. although i enjoyed reading this book, i thought that everything was rushed, especially after the accidental pregnancy— and that threw me off— especially that half of the book dealt with the pregnancy trope.
one thing i have also noticed is how maya’s writing style improved as the series went on. that being said, i’m looking forward to read her newer releases by this year as well.

before reading this, i’ve always wondered why people never talked about this book— or why people despise this book; and i may have the answer.
danielle lori romanticized kidnapping, emotional abuse, and sexual assault in this book. in about 80% of the book, i was frustrated with ronan. he’s not my fav, and i don’t think he’ll ever be. do not get me wrong, i love what he did in the last chapters. he truly redeemed himself, but those actions cannot cover up his previous behavior. did he have a good character development ? absolutely. but do i still hate him ? very much, yes.
mila is one of the strongest female characters i have ever read. from her family problems, stockholm syndrome, and so much more. i adore her so much, she truly deserves the world. she and kat carried this book.
overall, this is just a disappointing read. i don’t know why people romanticize this book.

when i picked up this book, i thought it would be as dark as nico and elena’s story— and i was wrong. this was eventually darker and we got more depths to the characters— gianna and christian.
to be completely honest, the first thing that hooked me in this book was christian in therapy. i don’t see that quite often, and that principle intrigued me enough to read the book in 3 hours.
i enjoyed this more than the sweetest oblivion, gianna was extremely relatable. the only thing i didn’t enjoy was the flings to lovers trope, i thought it wasn’t as done very well.
overall i really enjoyed this book and i’m looking forward to read the next book.
