As others have noted, the quality of the photos leaves much to be desired. Additionally, some pages are in the wrong order, and one photo is upside down. Still, as a funny little collector’s item, it’s amusing to have on my shelves.

I must admit, I only made it about 60% of the way through this one. While the melding of sci-fi and fantasy by way of sf retellings of traditional fairy tales sounded like a good idea, it just wasn't working for me in practice. I'd pick this up, read for a while, make it through a story or two, then put it down again, and it was just getting harder and harder to pick it up. A good idea that just didn't come together.

Asimov has long been one of my favorites, and while I'd probably read each story in this collection at least once before, that in no way lessened my enjoyment of any of them.

I actually read this last year when I got the .pdf version from the Kickstarter project, the physical book was delivered earlier this year. I found the Kickstarter when one of my friends announced that she was contributing a piece to the project. Perhaps not my usual reading material, but I really enjoyed all of it -- I don't remember there being a bad entry in the bunch, and quite a few extremely good stories. Not at all disappointed to have it in my collection, and I'll be adding the second volume when it's Kickstarter project goes live.
