I was *so* excited for this Sadie was one of my favorite books the year I read it so I had high hopes for The Project.

In the end, it just fell flat for me. The characters were fine but it just didn't have the pull that Sadie had.

Also a point of note: this was *awful* for me as an audiobook. There's so much bouncing around from time to time (but all within the same handful of years???) and changing characters etc. I ended up getting it from the library so I could actually read it and have half a clue what was going on.

What a cute book. Little will be thrilled to read the others in the series.

3.5 stars for me. It was good, just...not quite as amazing as the first book. To be fair, thats a tough one to match.
