I was *so* excited for this Sadie was one of my favorite books the year I read it so I had high hopes for The Project.

In the end, it just fell flat for me. The characters were fine but it just didn't have the pull that Sadie had.

Also a point of note: this was *awful* for me as an audiobook. There's so much bouncing around from time to time (but all within the same handful of years???) and changing characters etc. I ended up getting it from the library so I could actually read it and have half a clue what was going on.
