Yep, this was written by a man.

It started all right other than the massive amount of fatphobia and the weirdo descriptions of things. I was interested in what was going on...and then it just. I don't even know. By the end of the book I didn't much care if anyone survived. I wish I had stopped when my gut said to DNF. It just had such POTENTIAL.

Too much trauma 

The first couple stories were good. After that it just wasn't for me. The one about the tree for the violin just...no thank you. 

If you're autistic this will hit differently than for others. It wasn't funny to me. It was an excellent book but I am so baffled by the idea that so many find it funny. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking but it's not funny.

Absolutely loved this.

This just wasn't for me. I wanted to like it but it fell flat.
