I don’t feel bad for him. at. all. In here being indecisive and wishy-washy and you got your girl taken. I know Kou was torn up when boyfriend answered from the windowpane. Can I help you, sir? You’ve business with my girlfriend, hmm?
On the same note, Toma is just way too content being a rebound. But he’s growing on Futaba. But countdown until the inevitable

“You’ll never give someone else happiness by throwing away your own!”
This manga has a surprisingly mature look at a character going through the aftermaths of grief and trauma-bonding.
Also, I can’t hate Toma. He’s so lovingly honest and knows how to communicate. Nothing wrong with making your interest known, but you can’t force it either.

A very fitting end to Shoko’s arc. I’m happy about her closure! eh, he did have feelings for her??? But we’re applauding the bare medium. A teacher held back from dating a student, hurray? Despite that, I liked Mr. Tanaka as a character. Maybe a little less now, but still liked him.
Narumi is annoying and desperate, but she does have a slight point. Futaba doesn’t know how to give up either.

Aww, Toma is so sweet. Why did y'all have to make him so endearing? And he's not pushy. The 2nd lead is usually always better, but I can't completely write off Kou either.
I really want to call Narumi raggedy, but I get she's clingy and doesn't want to open up to other people. I think Kou's trauma-bonding with her. Anything to prolong the inevitable. It's not a Sakisaka manga if the main couple isn't dragged out.
Anyway, this manga is fun, and it's keeping my interest. So many ups and downs in this volume.

This is one of those books where you're meant to intensely hate everyone. It's vapid and materialistic. It's a trainwreck, but it's mostly fun.
Very much white beauty standards throughout, but the world of modeling is very still white-western-centered. A lot of sleazy, greasy parts of the modeling industry are delved into here too. Be warned: rape and other sexual assault are present and happen very matter of factly. The situations themselves are disturbing, but the details aren't graphic.
Also, this story has an accurate look at social media, you can see the most graphic tragedies alongside what your friend ate for breakfast and celebrity gossip in three swipes.
I think the author wrote hysteria very well. I don't regret reading this, but it's definitely not going to appeal to everyone.
