This is really wholesome and cute so far and the tension of Aoi’s voice inevitably deepening hangs in the balance. The way this manga shows off Aoi’s vocals is lovely. Leave it to manga to wax poetic about anything.

Some things feel too fast (like,

all the death fakeouts

), but the worldbuilding is fun. I would read more in this universe. I think the artwork and coloring style added a lot of personality, and I want see more Ola. Oh yeah, did I mention there's a heist too?

Writing in the voice of a teen can be super difficult, but some of the dialogue here was seriously cheesy. But these authors have written teen characters before that sounded/felt more natural.
 
Despite that, good inclusion of diversity, love, and different cultures. I found Stevie to be really annoying and pretentious, but the grand gesture at the end is seriously sweet. I don’t think I cared for any of the couples here unlike <i>Blackout</i> though it was nice that most of the misunderstandings/miscommunications were lighthearted.

 Hmm, I’m a bit intrigued though not much happened here, but it’s to be expected for an introductory volume. It’s rare to see menstruation be used as a plot point, but Talli’s blood is the catalyst for everything. I like Leelo. The artwork and action scenes were nice. I’d read a volume two just to get an idea where the story is headed.
