There is some necessary scientific and medical explanation littered throughout this book, but the author does well trying to make it engaging. I learned a lot, so I’d say it’s effective. 

Spider Punk asks us: What if the real villain’s gentrification and dirty politicians? There are some puns along the way too! And you know they’re gonna rock out. 

Why were certain words highlighted in red like an educational book with a glossary? Uh, this isn’t Dora the Explorer. 

 I liked the artwork, the humor, and the worldbuilding though it got confusing. I would read another story set in this universe. 

Very short. The artwork uses the strokes of a brush pen to move the story along. This is a retelling of a traditional story. As I'm not familiar with the original story, I don't know what differs here. 

Basically, a boy's parents die and his grandmother blesses him with protection. People try to kill him and it fails. Then, the story veers off into polygamy. Legit lol

I don't have much opinion due to the length of the story. There's probably an added value for those who grew up with the original story. But these are just my thoughts.

This series is fun, and I found myself excited to turn the page. The spy stuff and mystery are taken seriously, and there are twists and turns. ACTION-PACKED! 

The humor is still charming and matter-of-fact. Your favorite bald-heade vampire returns with typical middle school drama: What do you do when your friends have other friends?

Drago is still adjusting to their life now and the qualms of friendship at a camp. The occult vibes are stronger and darker here where it gets a little scary, but it shouldn't bother any middle grade kid who has had an appetitive for horror movies.
