A little too fast-paced, but the story shines in its action scenes and beautiful backgrounds. I also really enjoyed how supportive Donají's community was.

“Just because doubt gremlins get in your head, that doesn’t mean you have to believe them.”
I’ve found some of the previous entries a bit dull, but this one is the best of the series so far. The author gets middle school friend drama well. The part about negative, intrusive thoughts or “doubt gremlins” was really well-done and easy to understand.

Henri's narrative voice was very strong, and it completely captured the feelings of a middle schooler. Many times the people around Henri make her feel silly for caring too much about things.
As a criticism, I don't think the event with Katherine and the Morgan sister resolved or revealed well. I don't know if it was a miscommunication issue or bullying.
Overall, I enjoyed the casual, slice of life pace, Henri's confusion about her sister Kat's terrible attitude and distance between them, dreaded MATH PROBLEMS, and the unusual Morgan siblings. I wouldn't mind if this series continued, so we could see more of Henri and the Morgans.

Charming! I can see some symbolism at play, and I’m sure I figured out the big twist. But like most RPGs, the journey to getting there is fun! The art style is cute and expressive. Kind-hearted but terribly socially-awkward Travis and Travbot are wholesome, and the parents have a presence here.
I look forward to book two!

“Nobody deserves forgiveness […] but we all need it.”
Some new revelations, some fires are lit, and some serious progress with Oliver’s emotional journey.
SN: I love the way the author draws black women in this series; they always look so beautiful (all shades too).

Well-meaning and wholesome, but BORING. I started skipping through the strips
