Ehh, not perfect (some of the dialogue wouldn't hold up by today's standards ) but still entertaining.
What a bloodbath! The story has taken an interesting turn. The anti-superman indeed... wow, seeing the dad beat his son to a pulp, and the way it wrecks the mom is just... whoo
There are some snazzy moments, bits of fun dialogue, and a cool magic explanation. I liked the story with Rachel, but I just couldn’t get into this one. the witch is misunderstood in this story, so she’s not really the bad guy. Abusive parenting is
AWW, this manga is so cute! All that step-sibling nonsense is out the way now! In this volume, Yuna has some character development, and, now, Rio’s pining for her. This might be the first shoujo where I actually liked the misunderstanding trope though it’s still slightly frustrating.
Of course, get ready for the most “contrived falling on top of the one I love” pose at the end. I never get tired of shoujo, y’all lol.
