This book started off slow but quickly got better. I got attached to some of the characters and at more than one point I was rereading sections to make sure something I read actually happened. I got so attached to the character Mouse that when something happened to him I was just as worried as his friend Mahlina.

Everyone should read this book if you like dystopian books. The world in this book is the worst dystopian world I've seen. It isn't as bad as the world in the first book of the series but it is still pretty bad.

See my Ship Breaker Review for more on the dystopian world

By far the worst dystopian world ever. If you are light enough you can be on Light Crew and if you are heavy enough You can be Heavy Crew but if not then too bad for you. If you are lucky you can find other work but kids in the book are out of luck if they don't fit into either category.

This book was really good and kept me up late at night to find out what was going to happen next. It is unpredictable you don't know if any of the characters will survive.

I recommend this to any dystopian/science fiction lovers. The second book is even better than the first but they are both really good!
