The Drowned Cities
by Paolo Bacigalupi
This book started off slow but quickly got better. I got attached to some of the characters and at more than one point I was rereading sections to make sure something I read actually happened. I got so attached to the character Mouse that when something happened to him I was just as worried as his friend Mahlina.
Everyone should read this book if you like dystopian books. The world in this book is the worst dystopian world I've seen. It isn't as bad as the world in the first book of the series but it is still pretty bad.
