The trope of identical individuals swapping places is admittedly one of my favorites. From the awkward situations that arise when something someone should know is missing to the hijinks of trying to mask your true nature, I find these stories to be comical and fun to read. This novel was very much that for me, from the 'training montage' of our Gracie learning how to mimic Wei all the way to the conflict of character that Gracie has to work through of not feeling "Chinese Enough." You want each character to have their happy moments.

My only complaint with this book is in what I feel a very forced twist ending. It was quite refreshing to read about 2 completely individual people who just happened to be identical without being related, so the shoe dropping at the last moment of surprise sisters forced me out of the enjoyment. While it's a twist I am sure many liked for me it just didn't really do it. Overall however I did very much enjoy this story and would give it a 4-4.5/5 stars.
