I usually enjoy Katee Roberts writing however this one just isn't for me. There is supposed to be a plot but I feel like there is a lot that we are missing context/plot wise, so the 'plot' around this doesn't hold up at all. Perhaps if there had been something showing a lead up it would have felt more grounded to me.

Lost interest in this one as it slowed down heavily. The premise was great, but I just don't think this is for me right now.

I don't know if I am reading this at the wrong time of year or if this would be better as an e-book than an audiobook but something about this one just isn't sticking. This Novella was a bit too 'insta-love' for my tastes. Even the characters internal monologues at about the 30% mark start swinging from 'this person is cute, I should give them a shot' to 'I will hinge my whole existence on this individual because I love them.'
Perhaps if the beginning of the book over and not just a few short days/weeks I would have been able to get into it more but for the time being I will be DNF'ing this one. Perhaps I will retry it around the holiday season again.

Some of the stories were just not my cup of tea.

8 pages into the book but I can not stand Warren's behavior. It's obnoxious and childish, which feels completely contradictory to what was given in the synopsis.
