All uplifting and makes me proud of them not just as kids but as humans. Finding and owning who you are is so beautiful.

I really enjoyed the way the story went from character to character. Often showing both sides of the same scene. I appreciated the twisting story as it made its way to the end.

This moves quite slowly in a cozy descriptive cadence. The broad cast of characters was nice to follow through the story arch. Though the combination of so many POVs with the slow descriptive story telling made this book carry on for much longer a format than I think was needed. It felt like a 12hr book stretched out rather than a full 24hr book.

A slow lighthearted romance set against the celebrity journalism world. Not my favorite backdrop, but still well written.

hit too close to my own situation... but was well handled and it was nice to see a "could have been" story I can hope for. I also thought that

the breakup

was well handled with her

pausing things with Ryan until she ended her current relationship.

A slow reflective journey between the lives of Sadie & Sam and their friendship. It was an emotional path to revisit and with many heavy subject matters. The multiple POVs were skillfully interwoven. I especially appreciated the Side A / Side B styling later on. 

A quick read/listen and a nice escape for a few hours. The pacing of the book felt awkward at times with the ending quite fast. Though I guess that is what she wanted ;). I'm less used to reading novella length romance so that might be where the pacing felt out of sync for what I was assuming might happen. I dislike the cover art since it makes her seem like a child compared to him in size. I almost didnt pick this up because of it. But thankfully that didn't carry into their characters.
