Solid case for Sam and Dean BUT the discrepancies between this story and the lore from the show lowered the rating.

While this wasn’t the most gripping book I have ever read but for this type of thriller it is great! I love assassin stories and this one has a very solid storyline. It’s written in what felt like a conversational tone, meaning I felt like I was listening in on conversations rather than just hearing a story after the fact. It was interesting and enjoyable.

I was granted access to the audiobook and I can’t complain. I listen at a fast speed and my main complaint was needing to slow it down because at my usual speed I found it sounded almost robotic but slowed down it was fine. However, slowed down I do struggle to pay attention so it took me longer to get through than I was expecting.

I really thought I would enjoy this more that I did. The idea behind it is so great. My biggest problem is I got considerably more invested in a couple timelines and it made the others more of an annoyance for me to read. This surprises me, but I definitely wanted to get back to certain timelines and characters after it switched. I’d still recommend this for sure - it’s long and leans to a slower medium pace but I think it’s worth the read!

If your kids like Scooby Doo and are interested in space, this is a great jumping off point for learning! It’s full of information and even includes references and websites for more learning opportunities! We get a few conversations with the Scooby gang but mostly it’s Velma telling us about space. It’s cute and informative and the information is recently updated which is extra exciting!

I love heart and brain. They, along with the other organs, never let me down. They’re always a good laugh and they’re relatable. I love it.

Ooo boy are there some SOLID recipes in this cookie cookbook!

Full disclosure- I cannot bake cookies. It’s a curse. I can bake you anything you want but no matter what I do, if I touch the cookies farther than mixing the dough they burn - but they also don’t because they are straight up dough inside but burnt to a crisp otherwise. It’s weird. It’s whatever.

Is that going to stop me from buying this? No it isn’t. I need this book on my shelf. And I mean that - I NEED it. Maybe it’ll help me bake a decent cookie! Also, it reminds me of my grandma and I miss her so - there’s that.
