I absolutely loved this book! The story was fantastic and the cast of narrators was absolute perfection. This was a full on production as an audiobook and I love it. The story itself was creepy and would be perfect for a spooky season read or anytime read if you’re like me and every season is spooky season.

I’ve read better books with this general plot line, but I’ve also definitely read worse so I’ll take it. I found there to be interesting dynamics between all of the characters and that was enough to allow for some real mystery. It almost felt like everyone hated each other in this town and honestly, having grown up in a small town, I feel that! It also felt to wrap up really fast after the build to the climax and that was a bit disappointing.

I really enjoyed this tense mystery. While the high school kids thing is generally not something I enjoy (as ugh teenage angst just gets on my nerves) I found this book to be intriguing and I was sucked in almost immediately. I loved the premise, the way everything unfolded and the cliffhanger-like ending was perfect.
