I surprisingly enjoyed this! I was not aware (because I like to go in blind) that this was a sports romance and I really really don’t like those. On top of that, it’s soccer - and I’m so soccered out I can’t even express it. However, this story was sweet and honestly hilarious. It was a mess but also perfect. There are some open door romance scenes toward the end and by that point I was convinced this was a “clean” romance. However once it started it didn’t really stop. If you enjoy rom-coms, I think you’ll enjoy this as well!

This was pretty good. It definitely had a solid focus bringing attention to the way women were treated in the past when they weren’t your typical submissive female. I definitely enjoyed that aspect of it. It was interesting but not my favorite.

I absolutely love the Noodle Shop Series! While this one doesn’t take place anywhere near the noodle shop in Cleveland, we follow Lana and her sister Ana May to California where they meet up with their Aunt Grace and as luck would have it, the find themselves with another murder on their hands. In typical Ana May fashion, she attempts to deter Lana from any investigation but she wants to help and so she does. The twists in this one are designed to keep the reader guessing and it’s a cute read that’s fast paced and enjoyable.

I always recommend this series and this one is no different!

This just didn’t quite do it for me. It was okay and there was a decent amount of mystery considering the length but something just didn’t resonate with me in this one.

This story deserved more than the short bit that it was given. I feel like this would make a solid full length novel but as a short story it was lacking.
