I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from the author.
I really enjoyed this book! As an American reading a book full of Australian slang threw me off for awhile but it made the book more interesting! The book includes a glossary which was helpful and very interesting to read!
The storyline was really good, characters were developed nicely and the steamy bits were definitely steaming! I went with 4 stars because it took just a bit too long to answer some of the questions raised at the beginning in my opinion. I found myself consistently going back to those questions and wondering if I was going to get an answer. Definitely had at least one twist I didn’t see coming, which is very unusual for me and I love it when that happens! Overall, I will be reading more this author and it was definitely worth the read!

Loved it!
Oh boy have I missed Eve Dallas! Between her kick ass police work and her interesting takes on common sayings I can’t get enough. This story took us back to Roarke’s Irish roots, which is a favorite storyline of mine. So much happened and as usual, this was a quick read!

I enjoyed this one. It was a quick read, which I needed because I’m still fighting through other books on my TBR. This was a nice palette cleanser - because I’m the weirdo that uses thrillers as palette cleansers - and while I wouldn’t say the ending was a shock, the way the ending came about was a bit of a surprise. Enjoyable read for sure.
This book was so interesting! I decided to read it after binging Scientology and the Aftermath on Netflix. I found the information included in this book to be eye opening. She makes it easy to see how someone would get sucked into this organization, and how hard it is to get out once you’re in.
Eh this was just okay. The idea behind it was a solid one and really looked into every aspect that leads up to a school shooting as well as the aftermath. It was well thought out and plenty of emotion is evident in the story. I wasn’t a huge fan of the dual timeline, but I see why it was important and there really wasn’t a better way to go about this story.
