Super interesting. I HATED the animal testing/experimentation sections -skipped the fuck right over those.
I’ve since heard of criticisms about the book and Walker’s presentation of the research. I’m listening to the maintenance phase podcast on it & will dig further. Regardless, I feel there are some good takeaways here.
I wanted to love this but I also never wanted to pick it up & read it. Ugh. Read spoilers. Bummed about this one
nice conclusion to a fun series. However, I'm pretending the epilogue doesn't exist. Those two series don't belong in the same universe - it makes no sense logistically and world-building wise.
Edit: the more I think about this book, the more annoyed I get. The two timelines were linked together in such a weird way that makes no sense. Bumping this down from a 3.5 to a 2.5.
