Plot holes and a bit of cringe writing but 4 stars for pure fun. It’s what I needed.

intense animal cruelty within the first 27 pages. hard pass. Bummed because I really wanted to read this one!

Weirdly classist and fatphobic. I got icky vibes a few chapters in, read some reviews, and yep. Not for me. Gonna pass this book along. 

The collection is okay. Earth, Mary Carmine & Dishwasher were my favorites. 
I skipped Candy Pink & a few others because I didn’t care. 

Highly recommend this book! It's about the history of women’s running, and how men tried to prevent us from running. The old “your uterus will fall out” and “women are too delicate” excuses. Simultaneously infuriating and inspiring.

I read most of it, but listened to the last few chapters when I had a migraine. Both are good options.
