Holy shit this was a great memoir. Hilarious, heartfelt and so emotional. This woman has been through some batshit crazy things and she shares her story with us with such humor and grace. I really want the physical book.
ALSO i need to know about the redacted parts. That POS should not be protected! I'm super bummed they made her redact all of that.

I wanted to love this book but it stopped being fun after 130
Pages. Hated the animal cruelty - I skipped the cat scene and dnf’d shortly after. Moving on.

HOW IS ASHLEY POSTON SO GOOD AT WRITING!?! Another straight up five star. I laughed, I cried, I kicked my feet. obsessed.
I was so hyped about this book but I lost interest pretty quickly. I put it down at page 66 and then a month later realized I never picked it back up. Unhauled it.
deep dive into the history of MLM's. Super interesting, but not as engaging (read: gossipy) as Hey, Hun. Def a good read. Apparently listening to anti mlm books while running is my jam.
This book broke me. SO emotional. Emily has been through some shit. Such an inspiring woman!
I am unwell.
Amazing commentary on toxic masculinity, misogyny & race.
I wholeheartedly support this woman’s wrongs.
Also, the eyeball scenes are…. Unhinged.

I tried to push through and finish because it’s an important story and deserves to be told (and because I paid full price) but MY GOD this book was overwritten. I couldn't do it. Curtis really needed a good editor - I don’t think anyone actually edited this book at all, to the point that I heavily skimmed some sections so I wouldn’t cringe at the writing. It was also super disjointed - like, how did we get here from there? What just happened?
This book could have been so good. I'm so so disappointed.
