I thought this could have been the start of a fun new paranormal romance series. I was wrong.

drug use really fucking annoys me. Bummed because i love the premise of the book and i love the cover art. But yeah, so much drug talk in the first 18 pages... i'm out. 

got 7 pages in. Big ol' NOPE for me. 

BORED. BORING. BOOOO. I dislike the narrative -- what's it called when the MC is like "i wish i had known then...". that shit was all over the place.

 I'm bummed because i was psyched for this one. glad i picked it up from my library. 

booo. lots of ableist language, dog fighting, cruelty to animals, and horrible horrible people i had absolutely zero interest reading about.

I wasnt jazzed about the first 20 pages so I looked up some reviews.. mainly 3 stars with people saying nothing really happened. So I’m moving on.
