boring.

I tried so hard because I liked book one but, yeah. wow. i don't care. Also bummed because I bought the book full price =( 

Unfortunately this wasn’t for me. Mark came across kind of patronizing and I learned there were graphic descriptions of animal death/mutiliation. This vegan says no thank you.

Bummed because I love the concept of no tech, but I think he took it too far.

sadly, not invested at all. I loved Hallett's other books, so I'm bummed.

turns out i didn't care. 

just wasn't vibing with the story..specifically the main character. I liked January, but she was mean AF for literally no reason 

this book was lame. 

soft dnf. i started this during election week and dear god that was a bad idea. this book is way too grim. shelving it until things don't suck. 

bored. this book was kind of hokey.

The word play started to really annoy me. Every paragraph? Totally unnecessary.
