honestly, all this book had to do was hand over a tear-inducing found family AND a knee-buckling love story and now i’m giving it five stars. life comes at you fast.

romcoms about grief… shaking my ass, this beat is too good

in the words of ms goop: "i laughed, i cried a number of times, i sweat, i danced, i got... a shot, i ate, and i had many epiphanies" 

what can I say? I am like a measly little mouse, and Shakespearean retellings with a healthy dose of piping-hot tension and murder are like the cube of cheese that leads me straight to my death trap.

(taking a moment to appreciate my complete and total lack of awareness right now for whatever the fuck is about to go down in book two. I may start wars. I may burn cities. we will find out together.)
