Thank you Harper Perennial for the ARC and NetGalley for the eARC of More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop! All opinions in this review are my own.
While I am always wary of a sequel for a book that doesn't really need a sequel, I knew I was going to love More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop and it did not disappoint! Reading this book was like checking in on friends and I made sure to read it in my favorite reading spot to maximize the cozy experience! While I do not know if there is a plan for a third book, I will continue to read this series for as many books are written!
Thank you Wednesday Books and NetGalley for the eARC of The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist! All opinions in this review are my own.
I really like the concept of The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist but I like the story between Ivy and Mack more than Weston coming to life. While his antics are funny at first, eventually it gets a little old when Ivy constantly has to worry about who will watch him. Ivy and Mack healing their friendship made for the much better storyline.
Thank you Grand Central and NetGalley for the eARC of A Love Song for Ricki Wilde! All opinions in this review are my own.
I absolutely adored Seven Days in June so A Love Song for Ricki Wilde had a tough reputation to live up to. While it couldn't dethrone Seven Days in June as my favorite Tia Williams book, I still enjoyed it! I really like Ricki as a character and her relationship with Ezra, but I didn't love the chapters that flashed back into the past. I kept just wanting to read about Ricki and her flower shop! The last 100ish pages were my favorite because that's when the story really came together. Overall, Williams creates a loveable cast of characters in this magical book!
Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of Locked in Pursuit! All opinions in this review are my own.
Locked in Pursuit is the fourth installment in the Electra McDonnell historical mystery series. I like that this mystery starts off differently than the others in the series. Typically, Major Ramsey contacts Ellie when he has a job to do, but this time, Ellie sees a string of suspicious robberies in the paper and contacts him about it.
While the mystery itself was interesting, my biggest complaint is that it didn't advance the larger storyline as much as previous books. While there are a few moments that deal with the mystery of Ellie's parents, overall little is revealed about the mystery of her father. However, it does include some great moments between Ellie and Major Ramsey, and it ends on a very exciting note so I am looking forward to book five!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Never Met a Duke Like You! All opinions in this review are my own.
I loved the opening forced proximity to reintroduce Vesper and Aspen after some time apart! The banter and how much they deny liking each other made them getting together at the end all the sweeter! I can't wait to read more from this author!

Thank you One More Chapter and NetGalley for the eARC of Pole Position! All opinions in this review are my own.
Within the first few pages, I knew Pole Position was going to become a favorite. I love that Kian has been in the sport for awhile and is near the end of his career. I also love the hate to love relationship and forced proximity between Kian and Harper. Their relationship and its development is easily one of my all-time favorites and I truly can't express how much I loved this book!
Caffery strikes a careful balance by rewarding F1 fans without alienating people new to the sport. There aren't paragraphs explaining the sport so you can enjoy this romance without needing the racing background. However, for fans of the sport, there are enough racing details included to give you some on-track action too!
While I'm upset I have to wait until next year for the US physical copy to come out, I'm already looking forward to rereading! Also, based on how open Johannes's story is left, I hope this means we are getting a sequel!
Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Dreaming of a Duke Like You! All opinions in this review are my own.
I loved the set up for this historical romance! Gabriel was raised in a foundling home but now owns a successful club. Just as Gabriel learns that he is the legitimate heir of a dukedom, Vivienne appears needing her brother's debts forgiven so Gabriel makes her a deal. If Vivienne will teach his sister's how to act in the ton, he will forgive her brother's debt. I like that the obstacle standing in their way to be together was social standing rather than an issue that Vivienne and Gabriel had with each other. It made the ending sweeter when the people who support them told them to ignore society rules and be together.
Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the eARC of Love Interest! All opinions in this review are my own.
I really liked this book but it seemed kind of disjointed in the beginning. Casey is portrayed as a finance girl who wants a more creative role and loses out on the job she applies for to Alex, and executive's son. After despising him for a very short time, Casey and Alex end up becoming friends and then falling for each other. The events from the beginning are mentioned every so often but it doesn't really seem to have a bigger impact on their story. Overall, Casey and Alex's relationship is a really sweet workplace romance and it didn't need the hate to love set up in the beginning.
