Thank you to Celadon Books for the ARC and ALC of Notes on Infinity! All opinions in this review are my own.

I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would! I was intrigued by the biotech startup storyline, but was surprised at how quickly I got sucked into Zoe's story and her quest for success. My only complaint is that I didn't like the part that Jack narrates. While that part of the story needed to be told, I didn't like how it jumped around chronologically, especially when it rehashed parts of the story that were already told. However, I found the end satisfying and would read more from this author!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the DRC of Bait and Swiss! All opinions in this review are my own.

In Bait and Swiss, we meet Willa's ex-fiancee and ex-best friend who are trying to open a chocolate shop in Yarrow Glen. Unluckily for them, someone is poisoned by chocolates from their shop. Now the two people who broke Willa's heart and inspired her move to Yarrow Glen in the first place are asking for her help in clearing her name.

Bait and Swiss is another fantastic Willa adventure! I love that we get more of her backstory in this one, especially since this is the sixth book! The Cheese Shop Mysteries is my favorite cozy mystery series so I'm always looking forward to the next one!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the DRC of The Queens of Crime! All opinions in this review are my own.

I feel like I'm always excited to read historical fiction books about well-known people, but then end up not enjoying them as much as I thought I would. The Queens of Crime is the exception! I loved this group of mystery writing women and how they are trying to solve a case to bring justice to a woman that men don't really seem to care about solving. I don't know if there are plans to but I would love a sequel with this cast of characters and another mystery to solve!

Thank you Knopf and NetGalley for the DRC of The Note. All opinions in this review are my own.

If I hadn't already DNFed the last two mysteries I tried to read, I would have probably DNFed this one too. For being under 300 pages, The Note has so many plot lines that it can be difficult to follow at times.

All three women have their own experience with being publically cancelled, a fellow counselor died at the camp they went to, and the main character has a history with her friend's step-brother which causes problems with her fiance (even though she doesn't seem to like him very much). Finally, on their girls' trip, a man goes missing and they might be involved.

Overall, I feel like this author started out with a good idea but then was told that the book was too short so they added backstory which overcomplicated it. Unfortunately, the ending was unsurprising and unsatisfying.

Thank you Wednesday Books and NetGalley for the DRC, and Macmillan Audio and Libro FM for the ALC of Our Infinite Fates! All opinions in this review are my own.

I heard such great things about Our Infinite Fates so I knew going into it that I was going to enjoy it! I loved the concepts of lovers forever faced with having to kill each other before they turned 18 and seeing their love span time and locations.

I loved it right up until the twist towards the end. I knew there had to be some explanation for everything, and the answer took me completely by surprise, but I didn't love the ending. I also don't have any ideas to make the explanation or ending more satisfying so I can't complain about it too much.

Overall, if you liked The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, you have to give this one a try!

Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the DRC of Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave! All opinions in this review are my own.

Every time I think that Finlay can't get involved in another investigation, but she somehow finds herself in the middle of one! I am always nervous picking up a new Finlay Donovan book because I'm afraid that it will be the one where she loses her spark, but per usual, I had nothing to worry about! The fifth installment in the series is just as wild as the previous ones and it leaves off with you excitedly waiting for the next one!

Thank you Harper Collins and NetGalley for the DRC of A Language of Dragons! All opinions in this review are my own.

I love the world that A Language of Dragons is set in! It did take me a little while to get into the story, but I love that it's a mix of codebreaking and dragons! My only complaint is that I didn't care for the love interest, specifically why they can't be together and how it plays out. Overall, A Language of Dragons is an excellent fantasy and I can't wait for the sequel!

Thank you Atria Books and NetGalley for the DRC of The Three Lives of Cate Kay! All opinions in this review are my own.

I have a hard time articulating my thoughts about this one. There were times when I couldn't put it down and I had to find out what happened next, but then there were also parts that I didn't really care for. I didn't like that there are chapters from Cate's book because I feel like her story is more interesting than the dystopian book she wrote.

I also didn't love that Cate had to annotate everyone else's chapters. I switched reading between an ebook and a physical book. The astericks didn't really work in the ebook format because they all come at the end of the chapter instead of at the bottom of the page so I do recommend reading this one as a physical book.

Overall, the main character is hard to root for which makes it difficult to fully enjoy this book at times.
