Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the eARC of All's Fair in Love and War!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I loved Virginia Heath's previous series and I am happy to say that the first book in her new series does not disappoint!  All's Fair in Love and War is the first in the Miss Prentice's Protegee's series about a group of friends who have graduated from a school for governesses.  Georgie is the last one without a position but when Harry arrives desperate for a governesses for his nieces and nephew, Georgie steps in.  Although Georgie and Harry are not together that often in the beginning of the book, the moments that they are interacting are of full of energy.  Harry likes things to be very regimented but Georgie believes children learn best when they are moving.  There are quite a few times that don't always work in Georgie's favor but they make for some good laughs.

While the first book focuses on Georgie, the introduction to her friends prove that there will be some fantastic stories still to come from this series!

Thank you BiblioLifestyle and TNZ Fiction for the gifted copy of The Winged Tiara!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I read The Ice Swan a few years ago by J'Nell Ciesielski so I was excited to read another book by her!  I couldn't put The Winged Tiara down!  Part whirlwind jewel heist in various European cities and part romance, the action never stopped!  The introduction of Esme and Jasper's relationship only adds to the tension between the two, which is also later fueled by the competitiveness as they try to track down the famed tiara.  I absolutely loved The Winged Tiara and recommend it if you are a fan of heist novels with romantic tension!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of The Rom-Commers!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I have only ever seen positive reviews for Katherine Center's books so I was excited to finally read one!  I absolutely loved The Rom-Commers from the concept of a die-hard rom-com fan trying to help one of the best screenwriters fix his own to their banter throughout the book to the way they fell for each other (sometimes literally).  Center has a talent for creating loveable characters and making them read like real people.  I look forward to reading more of her work!

I liked the concept of this book but realized if I was skim-reading it just to read it, it probably wasn't for me.

Thank you BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the eARC of Scotland: The Storyteller's Photo Guide!  All opinions in this review are my own.

While mainly geared to photography enthusiasts, this guide is an excellent introduction to all of the must-see places in Scotland!  I liked the written adventures that accompanied each place, but since it is described as a "photo guide" I thought there would be more photos than text.  The photos are stunning and I just wanted more!  Overall, this guide brought back great memories of our trip to Scotland and provided new places to explore for our next trip!

Thank you Mariner Books and BiblioLifestyle for the gifted copy of Homecoming!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I have always heard great things about Kate Morton's books and Homecoming sounded so good that I had to read it!  I really enjoyed it and the ending is wild!   I actually liked the book in a book concept more than I thought I would.  My biggest complaint is that it took so long to get all the pieces lined up for the big reveal.  It is worth it in the end, but I think going in knowing that the first few hundred pages are going to be all set up would have made me a little more patient after the mysteriousness of the opening chapter.  Overall, Homecoming is a great read and I look forward to reading more of Morton's books!
