Thank you Dutton and NetGalley for the eARC of But How Are You, Really. All opinions in this review are my own.
I feel like I have been reading a lot of books centered around a reunion lately. This one reminded me of The Devil Wears Prada but set a college reunion.
But How Are You, Really explores the unease at seeing people you may not have had the best endings with and how going back to a place can take you back in time. While I did enjoy it, I definitely felt the anxiety of the main character through some of her experiences. Overall, this ended up being a sweet story about how you can rely on your friends to help you when you are down.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Second Night Stand! All opinions in this review are my own.
I am such a fan of Karelia Stetz-Waters and I love that she wrote this one with her wife! I am always a fan of the reality TV show/competition trope so because of those two things, I knew I would love it! The characters were well-written and I loved that Izzy is able to find someone who loves her for her and not her Blue Lenox persona. The problem was that I liked both Izzy and Lillian too much so I didn't know who to root for in the talent show!
Second Night Stand is an excellent debut as a couple and I hope they write more together!

Thank you Flatiron Books and NetGalley for the eARC of Just Some Stupid Love Story! All opinions in this review are my own.
If you are a fan of One Day but want a better ending, read this book!
Molly, a rom-com screenwriter, and Seth, a divorce lawyer, reunite at their 15th high school reunion after she broke his heart. They make a bet that soulmates exist and use five couples to prove it over the next five years.
I was worried that the quick jumps in time would make the story feel underdeveloped, but it ended up being paced really well! The characters are well-written and overall, this was a really fun read! I highly recommend!

Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the eARC of The Pairing. All opinions in this review are my own.
I thought I was going to absolutely love this one and I am so sad that I didn't. I loved the concept of two friends turned into a relationship breaking up right before their European food and wine tour only to be reunited when they end up on the same tour trying to use their vouchers before they expire. I was expecting detailed descriptions of food, wine, and travel, but unfortunately that's not what I got. Extremely early on in the book, Theo and Kit become friends again and make a bet of who can sleep with the most people. This was so frustrating to read because they clearly were still in love with each other and just needed to actually talk about their feelings with each other. The book did get better after it switched to Kit's point of view and you realize how much he has missed Theo. The ending was really sweet too. I just wish the first half was more like the second half.

Thank you Wednesday Books and NetGalley for the eARC of Annie LeBlanc is Not Dead Yet! All opinions in this review are my own.
I liked the idea for this book that every 10 years someone in this small town is chosen to bring someone back from the dead and Wilson chooses her ex-best friend Annie LeBlanc. This ended up being a really sweet friendship story about Wilson trying to heal her relationships with Annie and Ryan. I was a little disappointed because I thought there was going to be more related to this town secret but I did really like the ending. Overall, this is a cute YA friendship novel!
