I am sad to say I am DNFing this one at 41%. I loved Last Night at the Telegraph so I'm sad to be DNFing this one. Although terrible things happened to the main character before the book starts, I don't like how manipulative she is with her new friends and based on review, it sounds like she makes some bad decisions with them.

Too brief of an overview for each of the countries she writes about

I wanted more about her travels and less about the relationships she had while traveling.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF this one.  There was too much about how bad Lexi is as a waitress in the beginning and then by the time it got to the actual story, I couldn't understand why she cared so much about people from high school.  When I realized I was skimming more than reading, I knew it was time to stop.

While I like the complexity of this second chance, celebrity romance where he takes care of her after major surgery, it's moving too slow for me. I don't have the focus to read a book that is slow-paced right now and I find myself skimming more than reading which means it's time to stop.

This is the most depressing Christmas book I have ever read.  I should have known what I was getting myself into based on the synopsis, but I found myself skimming more than reading which means it's time to put it down.

I loved Pandora by the same author so I was excited to read this one. The opening chapter lent the same amount of mystery and supernatural touch, but the rest of it didn't deliver.  I waited until I at least finished the first part but unfortunately, I was forcing myself to continue reading this book.

The premise of this book sounds both funny and sweet, and I have read such good reviews about this book!  However, there is way too many descriptions of pee and other bodily fluids for me.  I know this is part of life and getting older, but I don't want to read about it.

I realized as I was nearing the big reveal, I did not care what happened and I decided it wasn't worth my time to finish it.

I liked the concept of this book but realized if I was skim-reading it just to read it, it probably wasn't for me.
