Ooo this was so good. This was fast paced and it started from page 1. Highly recommend.
This was fun and it was a quick read.
The writing wasn’t the best, but I still really enjoyed this one.

Dark Corners by Megan Goldin
Out 8/8/23
Thank you to @ for a netgalley of this one (and all of MG’s previous books).
Honestly, this book was an absolute page turner. Though I really enjoyed Night Swim, Dark Corners is a perfect second act for our main protagonist Rachel. The plot was had enough intensity that you needed to get to the end. The chapters that were the podcast did not interfere with the story at the fore front, but more supported how we were getting to the end. The back drop of an influencer’s conference was fun. And Joe Martinez better be in the next book with Rachel’s character. Goldin is truly an amazing thriller/suspense writer and I am HERE for whatever she writes next!
Don’t be alarmed. This is not a true sequel. You do not need to read NS to read this one, however I recommend reading all of Goldin’s backlist.

Thank you to Atria books for a netgalley!
Wowza. This one was quite the ride. Loved the plot and how it unfolded. Loved the alternating POVs. And loved the ending. Though this plot is about a possible murder that Jason committed, it truly is a plot on how two of the bestest friends can deal with something so tragic. The relationship that Julia and Sienna have is well written. Though there were times that I wanted Sienna to stop talking. Her character was a bit much at times.
Overall, this is solid suspense book and I definitely recommend!

Thank you to the publisher for a free netgalley!
As usual, Fiona Davis does not disappoint. I will say, I highly enjoyed the fact that this one stayed in the past for long periods. Sometimes the constant switching in dual timelines gets annoying.
However, Davis does the opposite here keeping us mostly in the past. And it was so well done. I enjoyed reading about the Rockettes and I enjoyed our main character a lot. Peter was a great character in the story and I kept picturing Q from the new Bond movies 🤣
Definitely recommend this one!
