Thank you to the publisher for a free Netgalley.

Well this was fun. The premise was right up my alley and any mystery that takes place in a small town in England works for me. I enjoyed our main character and the side characters were well written.

Perrin includes Aunt Frances' diary throughout the book that allow Annie, and the reader, piece together the mystery. It was really well done.

Definitely recommend for mystery lovers.

I enjoyed this one. It was quiet fun, Excited for the rest of the trilogy.

Just nope. I don't like a single character. I think the plot is too slow. I am unsure when character based stories means no plot.

Thank you to Atria for a Netgalley of this one.

Ok. I absolutely loved the premise. I did not love all of the pieces though. I did not love our main character. Even when we hit the emotional twist Serle always delivers, I kept waiting for more and more to happen with that..... nothing did. I felt the Daphne was actually quite flat as a character and her chemistry with anyone in the book was meh at best.

By the end of Serle's books, I am usually a blubbering mess. This one just did not hit like that for me.

Loved, loved this book. I enjoyed the characters and the overall storyline. And lord that ending. Could you leave me more hanging?

Thank to you Minotaur & St. Martin's Press for a free Netgalley.

Alex Finlay delivers a solid thriller/suspense novel with If Something Happens to Me. At first, we are reading about multiple characters; wondering where this is going and how they all tie together. And man does he bring them together. The connection between the characters was a complete surprise. Even with it taking time to get to the connection, the story is fast paced and I never once was thinking "Just get there already". Chill. Finlay will get there and it will be worth it!

Solid thriller/suspense that comes out this May. Highly recommend.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press for the Netgalley!

Wow. I know very little about the Vietnam War. After reading about it, while it seemed like an absolute waste, I could not be hurt for the people who came from a war they may not have asked to go to and how they were treated. Hannah clearly did a ton of research to make this book what it ended up being.

I loved reading about Frankie, Ethel and Barb. Their stories and friendship were so well written. It was hard to see Frankie go through what she did when she arrived home, but such an important story to read. Seeing her ups and downs during a difficult decade of her life was heartbreaking.

Overall, this book will be highly recommended by me for many, many years.

My only qualm was the fact that both men were shot down and then found. I think Rye should have just been listed as a POW and maybe "killed" in the camp before coming back. It felt weird that every man she loved was shot down and never recovered. Then the only one not found was Fin.

This was fabulous. I also see mixed reviews.

Those who want more smut-- I do not-- will be thoroughly disappointed. To me, Throne of Glass had some romance/smut, while ACOTAR had a lot. This series is more towards ToG in that regards, which makes me happy.

I am here for the world building and depth of the plot line. I think the fact that she can create THREE series that have well developed worlds, and then even drop a crossover in is pretty darn impressive. Most of the storylines interested me. Ithan's not so much. I find Ithan to be quite the matyr.

Jesiba's role in this book was fabulous. Seeing her character more and getting her backstory was really enjoyable for me. Honestly, seeing MANY of these characters receive more spotlight for their stories honestly made this book that much more enjoyable.

I was worried about the crossover and how much it would take over. If you have not read book 2 this many years later, sorry to spoil that but the book 2 has been out long enough.

My biggest annoyance, like with the big battle in Game of Thrones, is that more people should have died. I find in all her series, Maas does not kill people off and that's where it is a bit too clean and neat for me.

Ready for book 4, which I assume will be titled the only house we have not had yet.

I was worried about the crossover when we spent time with Az and Nesta at the beginning. I am happy we did not have them all book as their characters made it clear they would not be helping the battle.

I loved how Bryce left her parents with the Night Court and how that conversation went when Bryce picked them up. Now that Rhys has the sword, dagger, and mask what will ACOTAR 5 be like? I loathed ACOTAR 4 and how CC3 ended actually makes me excited for ACOTAR 5.

I didn't love Assassin's Blade the first time through. I felt it stopped me from moving forward in the series. But of course as it went on, I appreciated it more.

This year, Popsugar had a prompt that was a story with pirates. So I figured I would bring myself back to this novella as I am rereading the series as a whole!

Thank you to Celadon for a Netgalley of this upcoming release.

Lucy is returning to her small hometown where she is known for murdering her best friend 5 years ago. She was never charged, but that did not matter. Her grandmother convinces her to come home for her birthday while neglecting to mention that Ben, the man making a podcast about this murder, will be in town.

This starts the deep dive down the rabbit hole. Small town. Big secrets. Always when that is the setting. The book flips between podcast transcripts and "normal" chapters from Lucy's perspective. We slowly are brought to THE night in question.

I really enjoyed this book. Tintera, who apparently is primarily a YA writer, is making her adult debut, which did not disappoint. Like most small town books, everyone is the suspect, and while I had inklings of the killer reveal it did not let me down. This was really well written and I definitely recommend to thriller readers.

Spoiler:
Am I the only one who wishes it was Lucy?
