Thank you to the publisher for a free Netgalley.

I found this to just be super fun and cute. I enjoyed this one immensely. I am not a huge romance reader, but this is what I needed at this moment. I loved that miscommunication was not a trope in this book, as I truly hate that.

Though this had some predictability, I enjoyed both characters and secondary characters a lot. Which made this easier to enjoy!

Great debut novel!

Loved loved loved.

Thank you Atria for a Netgalley!

Well this was creepy AF. Like no joke couldn’t read it at night in the bedroom if my husband wasn’t reading next to me.

This reminded me of the preview for The Strangers, which I’ve never watched. But the line when she asks why they’re doing this and they say “Because you were home”. The book is the same level of freakiness to me.

Love the premise and it took a hot minute for the interludes to really strike home.

My biggest qualm was the fact I have a few unanswered questions that made the plot feel like it had holes.

But overall, this was a great horror book and I cannot wait for the adaptation!

Nico is a small child in a 28 year old body. The girlfriend— whose name I can’t be bothered to look up— is meh.

Read some reviews to see if I should keep going and I’m not in the mood for a survival story.

Really enjoyed this one!

Enjoyed this quiet novel/mystery. There is no giant, explosive moments, but it still was well written. Looking forward to what else this author will put out.

Thank you to the publisher for a copy.

This, to me, is hands down Miranda's best book. I really enjoyed the story and all the different elements at play. The plot moved at the perfect pace and I am happy that Miranda did not use the dual timeline style for this book. It was best told in the present day as it was.

The ending was highly satisfying and I definitely recommend.

Well then. This was something. And it was well written.

I loved our main chain-gang and reading about their stories. Our two main female protagonists were well developed and I enjoyed their journeys. The way the author included footnotes to help with the story was also useful.

My biggest qualm with the book was the numerous amount of characters. Some of the side stories just slowed the book down. I would have preferred more time with the chain, Micky, Mair, and Hendrix/SJC.

Thank you to the publisher for an ARC.

This one just fell flat for me. I really enjoyed The Chateau and was looking forward to this one.

However, 25% in the characters are awful. The plot holds my attention little and this is just not for me.
