"Undead Girl Murder Farce" is probably one of the weirdest titles I have ever come across in my time reading Manga, while this title is accurate it does feel like it is a bunch of words thrown together.

Undead Girl Murder Farce is a Supernatural Clue. With interesting clients and even more interesting detectives.

The only downside is that this volume doesn't include the entirety of this story arc.

This was a fun romp; I would recommend it!

I had never had the pleasure of reading a "Choose your own adventure" book; I only got to learn how they are the groundwork to things like Table Top RPGs and RPGs in general. So it was fun to dive in and enjoy it.

I also enjoyed the amount of diversity shown in this book. Especially when "fantasy" often feels incredibly white, and while change towards inclusivity seems to be moving slowly, this is a step towards it.

Incredibly wholesome, made me tear up.

This was gorgeous, and I enjoyed the poetry. Especially since it shows the orginal Spanish and the English translations on the same page as part of the art.

I will say this art at times feels like a fever dream, but it really works well.

What I didn't care for was the cursive font that they chose. While I typically don't struggle to read cursive this particular font I had great difficulty.

This felt less interesting than the first volume does, mostly because it felt fairly formulaic. But in retrospect, I know that's because that is the type of middle-grade fiction this is.

I just became very aware that I was not the demographic for it.

I read the first chapter of this book before I stopped because I had to know what was going to happen. The reason I stopped being that due to reading the preview of the first book I was missing the five chapters of knowledge.

I needed to know what had happened after chapter 6, which lead us to Dorma returning to her burrow.
The above was a beautiful story about grief and expectations overall.

I will say it again if you like Dungeons and Dragons or stuff in that vein you will LOVE this series.

Superhero Origin Story?
Seems like it is.

It reminded me a lot of SHAZAM! With the whole Children becoming adult superhero's thing going on.

I don't know who though lime green test was a good idea, but it was the most painful thing I've ever tried to read.

This was an incredibly sweet read that didn't fall into many pitfalls typically found in BL manga, which causes me not to enjoy them. Instead, it is just a sweet love story.

One plot point gave me pause, but most of the time, I was vibing as I watched Wataru fall for Saeki.

This is apparently part of one of a two-part series, but I will say that you could happily read just this volume on its own and enjoy it thoroughly.
That being said, I will be picking up Volume 2 because I need to know what this is about since everything feels complete at the end of this volume.

Be The Main Character of Your Life!

Is the perfect summary of this book. It is a wonderful take on shifting ones mindset. Because if you don't look for it your story will pass you by.

This book made me oddly nostalgic as I read it, and I think it could be a good read for anyone.
