This was all filler to set up the next books and I'm lowkey hype. They're about Nesta and she's angry and I love her. The preview for the next book was the best part okay. I want it but I dont because I know sjm is going to make Nesta soft after 1 book.

The rest was meh. There was no plot and I wanted smut but there wAS NONE. Well there was one scene so whatever. And it lacked all the passion of ACOMAF so what's the point.

hi I'm constantly talking about how I want more angry female characters who won't let anything hold them back AND THIS IS ONE OF THOSE FEW BOOKS.
RIELLE!
ELIANA!!
THEY'RE SO ANGRY. THEY WANT TO BE LOVED AND PROTECT THOSE THEY LOVE. BUT MOST ALL ALL THEY WANT TO BE POWERFUL.
I WILL RAVE OKAY.

I loved this so much. The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies and I love Cary Elwes. I was emotional from the start. It was so awesome to hear about the passion of the people that made this movie and fun they had doing it. And the stories of cast members as they interacted, especially stories of Andre the Giant where they remember him so so fondly.
I just loved this so much.

I'm REELING.
THIS BOOK
This book was action packed from beginning to end. The writing was absolutely lyrical and flowed so beautifully. The end left my heart racing. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD.
Vasya is a heroine i love deeply, because she's everything I could ask for. She's strong and stubborn and never gets beaten down. She doesn't care for rules or roles. I love her so much.
And Morozko, my sweet death god boy. He's an idiot. I love him.

HELLO I AM A WHOLE LOT OF SCREAMING CONTAINED IN A RELATIVELY SMALL GIRL RIGHT NOW.

I wish there had been more build up to the ending but otherwise this was an excellent read. I love Greek tragedies.

Edit: July 2018. This is my favorite story of all time and I am ashamed that I rated it 4 stars. What even is that review??
This story is everything. Its so subtle, but impactful. Antigone is one of my favorite characters of all time. She's so strong and resilient in the face of everything. She refuses to be put down by her dick uncle and his shit orders. She stands up for what she believes in and she doesn't stop until she's martyred herself. It was fantastically told.

I hadn't realized this was a standalone but I enjoyed it all the same.
The story telling is beautiful and the plot is intriguing. There was a tough patch in the middle where the story kind of dragged. I wish we'd gotten to see more interaction between Amar and Maya because their relationship was a bit insta-lovey but it was kind of understandable once we got the backstory.
Overall, I give this book 3 stars. It was a fantastic, quick, and beautiful read, overall.

Wait I need more
