3.5 stars!

There were so many things I absolutely adored about this book but there were also certain things that I just didn’t? First of all, I just absolutely love Max and Jack and I wanted all the happiness in the world for them! They have undeniable chemistry and they just brought out the best in each other. The family they were able to make was so sweet as well and I just loved Emma so much

So it’s 4 am and I’m crying after I just finished this beautiful, wonderful book and I’m not quite sure how to put into words how much I absolutely adored it. This was my most anticipated book of the year and it exceeded my expectations, which I don’t really know how it’s possible, but wow wow wow, this book was seriously EVERYTHING. I’m gonna write more about it later but for now I’m going to pull myself together and sleep for the few hours I have before I have to wake up for work.

I’m a sucker for the fake dating trope, friends to lovers, and sports romances so this book was right up my alley and I loved it! Bree and Nathan were both so lovable and it was impossible not to root for them from the very first page. The miscommunication got to be a little much at some points but honestly I live for the angst so I was totally okay with it

I love a good beach read and murder mysteries so when I saw that this was the two combined, I added it to my tbr so fast! I was lucky enough to receive an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. While the concept of this book is amazing, it didn’t completely deliver for me. I definitely enjoyed it and it was a fun, fast read but there were just certain aspects I didn’t love. The beginning, especially, was a little confusing with so many characters being introduced and having to keep up with so much different information. I think it could’ve been better if it didn’t switch povs so much

This book was such a joy to read!! It was messy in the most beautiful way and I loved every second of it! First of all, this was a very character driven book and I think all the characters were so well fleshed out and it just made the story flow so well. My personal favorite character (besides Ophelia) is Wesley
