Wow!! This definitely lived up to the hype!!

THIS BOOK. I can’t even properly put in to words how good it is! I loved every single word of it

This book has been on my tbr for too long but something just kept stopping me from starting it until finally I was determined to pick it up and I’m really glad I did! This is my first Colleen Hoover book and while I don’t think she’ll become one of my favorite writers, I do see myself picking up a few of her other books in the future.

First for the things I didn’t love:
- While the first chapter hooked me enough that I needed to keep going, for the first 15-20% of this book, I really didn’t know if I was going to be able to finish it.
- Just the way Ben said and did something’s during the first November 9th just made me really uncomfortable. (Namely, *SPOILER* him touching Fallon without her consent and with her obvious discomfort)
- Like Fallon, I’m really not a fan of insta love so their “relationship” felt really weird to me for a while.
- Lastly, I wish Fallon’s “cleanliness” in the beginning wasn’t described as “obsessive, compulsive.” For one, it’s completely forgotten about after the first few chapters and two, as someone that actually is ocd, it just felt gross to me

3.5 stars!

This was a quick, intriguing read that I enjoyed overall but it’s one that I wouldn’t read again. First, the cover of this book is amazing and it’s probably what drew me to the book the most!! Second, I very much recommend the audiobook for this one! The narrator’s for each character are perfectly voiced and helped keep the eerie vibe throughout. Also, I have a love/hate relationship with multiple pov books because sometimes I just really love certain characters and don’t enjoy others so I’m just dying to get back to the perspective of the ones I enjoy but this book really benefitted from the different povs! Mainly, this book was really entertaining and I’m glad I picked it up but it was very predictable (I guessed the killer as soon as they were introduced

3.5 stars rounded up ⭐️

m gonna be honest, I spent the first 75% of this book incredibly frustrated
