I expected to love this one but it was just fine šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø The concept is great but it was honestly just really boring for about 75% of it and then the last 25% was great but it just took too long for me to really be invested in the characters! It was also hard to distinguish Grace from Ava and I think that made it even harder for me to get into it in the first half especially. This isn’t one that I would recommend enthusiastically but it’s not one I’d dissuade anyone from either because I do think it has really good bones!

Overall, I really enjoyed this one! I loved both Han & Kenny and it was super easy to root for them! I think at times there were too many things going on which took away from the main storyline a little bit and I wish the end wasn’t as rushed as it was! So this is one that didn’t disappoint but didn’t quite live up to the hype for me but still one I’d recommend!

I think this might be the perfect childhood friends to lovers book, it was truly so beautiful! 🄹 I loved Ellis & Lucky so much so quickly! They are so incredibly different but they understand each other on a level that’s indescribable. This book truly brought me so much joy; I laughed, I cried, and everything between! 🄰 The neurodivergent rep in this was incredible and truly just the icing on the cake!

Jojo was one of my first celebrity crushes so I’ve been anxiously anticipating this one! This was a really great memoir that didn’t hold back on the good, the bad, or the ugly of her story (which personally, I think is the point of writing a memoir). It’s sad how easily the music industry is able to manipulate people, especially young and vulnerable people. It’s truly no wonder that so many child stars end up having a lot of struggles when they get older! I’m really glad she has finally been able to find her voice and stick up for herself and found ways to be more healthy in all parts of her life. Very much recommend this if you’re a fan of Jojo or if you’re interested in nuanced stories about famous people!

I really enjoyed this!! I loved the fake dating combined with the second chance trope and think both worked really well in this story! I feel like sometimes the second chance trope is complicated depending on the reason for their original breakup but this one made so much sense while not making me dislike either character! I was confused about Braylon’s accent, I might’ve missed where he was from originally but it seems odd that he would have such a think accent after only being in England a few years as an adult so that threw me off lol I loved the family and friend relationships but the family business drama annoyed me a bit at times especially because it was easy to tell that Denz wasn’t in the competition for the right reasons and I just wanted him to realize that faster lol but overall, this was a very solid, sweet, emotional, and spicy read!

I’m always excited for a new Sophie Gonzales book & I absolutely love royal romances and forbidden love so I’ve been so excited to read this one and I loved it! Both Danni & Rose were extremely flawed in different ways but they both have so much heart! Rose might have had a harder time feeling her emotions but once she did, it was really beautiful and heartbreaking to see her deal with them! And seeing Danni blossom throughout the story from a girl that was terrified of being perceived to finding a confidence in herself and her talents made me so happy!

There was honestly so much to this story and while I think the first half could’ve been condensed in some areas and enhanced in others, by the end, everything came together so so well and made the journey worth it! I’ll definitely have more to say about this but I’m so happy that Sophie is finally able to release this book into the world and I can’t wait for everyone to be able to read it! 🄰

I honestly really enjoyed this!! I don’t really know how to review this without spoiling the whole story lol so this will probably be kind of vague but I guessed one of the two major plot twists pretty early on, mainly because things that weren’t completely adding up for me in the beginning lol and then the other plot twist, I was suspicious about the person but kept second guessing myself šŸ˜‚ but everything came together so well in the end and it kept me so invested throughout the whole thing!

I’m trying to be more accurate with my star ratings and I just didn’t really like this one šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø I read it because I’ve seen it around and I heard it was being adapted this year but the overall story just wasn’t very good. I’ll still watch the movie because I do think it has a good concept but the book just didn’t give me what I wanted it to. I thought the reveal and reasoning was pretty dumb and on top of that, I also didn’t particularly care about any of the characters so I didn’t feel like there were any real stakes so when characters were killed, I didn’t really feel any type of emotional towards it. I think it could’ve been better with more character development and if the killers motivation had more logic. I personally wouldn’t recommend this one but to each their own šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Wow wow wow! This was the easiest 5 stars I’ve given in a while! This book was absolutely devastating with the most wonderful ending 🄺 I can’t even explain how much I loved both Jonah & Liam. I want to wrap both of them in a blanket and protect them from the whole world! I truly don’t have the words to explain how much I loved this book but I know it’s going to stick with me for a long time! Highly, highly recommend!!
