I really loved this one!! I love a book about famous people and forbidden love so this one got me with the synopsis immediately and luckily, the story was executed so so well!! Bee & Nolan had instant chemistry and even though the story all took place within about a month (besides the epilogue), it was really easy to fall in love with them and believe how much they loved each other! I also really loved that both of them had crushes on each other before they met, I think it made their attraction to each other equal on both sides. There’s also some fantastic rep in here: Bee & Nolan are both bi and proud, the fat rep was handled so well, and the discussion around sex work was so positive and empowering! I also loved the discussion on how toxic celebrity/fan/tabloids can be and how it affects not only the lives of the famous person but also their family and friends. Just all around, a very sweet, steamy, and funny story and I can’t wait to get to the rest in the series!
I took half a star away from my rating because I HATED the voice of the male narrator. There were multiple times I almost dnf’d because his voice just gave me the ick but I’m glad I stuck with it lol

This was so sweet 🥺 I very easily could’ve read this in one sitting (if this month hadn’t been so busy) but I actually loved getting to savor it and stay in the cozy holiday spirit throughout the month 🥰 I adored both Frank & Bennett so so much and I also loved Libby so so much 🥰 Honestly, my only complaint is that it wasn’t longer because I would love to read a full length novel about them lol

I loved this book so much 🥺 am i surprised? Not at all lol I have loved every Timothy Janovsky book I’ve read and this being a queer retelling of The Santa Clause had me sold from that description alone! I loved both Patrick & Quinn and it was so easy to root for them even when they just needed to communicate and they would be able to solve 75% of their problems! I have more to say about this one eventually but I’ll just leave it at I loved it for now! 🥰

This was fine 🤷🏻♀️ It was a very quick cute story that I think could’ve been really great if it had been a full novel. There was a lot alluded to that would’ve helped the character and relationship development but there just wasn’t enough time! So a cute holiday read but I don’t think it’ll be very memorable

I really enjoyed this overall!! I loved both Bee & Clover and both of their journeys were very similar while being the complete opposite of each other which I found really fun! I’m not a big fan of The Holiday so I kind of went in with low expectations but I’m glad I did! My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. I think with there being 2 stories happening at once, it would’ve worked a lot better if it was longer to be able to expand on both the stories! But overall, this is a great, fast holiday read that I would definitely recommend 🥰

I really really loved this 🥺 I honestly try not to pick up books about animals (I can’t handle how sad most of them are 😭) but my mom recommended this one and I’m so glad she did! This story was so sweet and the perfect heartwarming Christmas story! It was definitely emotional but not in the way I expected so I was very glad for that! Just a very short and sweet read perfect for the holiday season 🥰

I finished this one earlier today and I’ve been trying to decide how to rate it and I’m still going back and forth between 4 and 4.5 stars 🙈 I really really loved the concept of this story and it ended very well but the journey there was so frustrating that there were points that I had to pause and do something else for a little bit. I’m not someone that minds the miscommunication trope as much as most people seem to but this was like miscommunication on top of miscommunication on top of miscommunication and it got pretty annoying. It’s one of those books that made me want to yell at the characters to just talk to each other and be honest about how you’re feeling while knowing that if I was in a situation like this, I probably wouldn’t follow my own advice 😂 so on one hand, I thought it was a very realistic way for them to handle things but I was also just annoyed lol besides that, I really loved Grant’s family, especially his aunt & uncle and I think it was a great representation of how difficult and isolating it is to grow up queer! So I’m going to go with 4 stars, just because of my frustration with Grant but I do think it’s a really great book besides that!

On one hand, the story kept me invested but on the other hand I didn’t really like it? It would’ve been fine if it hadn’t ended with a cliffhanger and maybe if Noah wasn’t so creepy and fine with her dying until the end, I would’ve liked him more? I honestly don’t even know how I feel about this tbh lol

This one is so confusing for me because on one hand I absolutely adored Troy & Sam but on the other hand, I spent most of this book bored out of my mind 😅 There were a lot of things I loved about it, especially the characters and how sweet Troy & Sam were together, but something just didn’t click with me. Maybe I’m just a little burnt out lately, this book is 260 pages and it took me 3 weeks to get through it (which is very long for me 😭) but I am glad I stuck it out, especially because I’m excited to read Corwin’s book and Lawson’s book! I also just think I’m in the mood for a little more angst so it’s possible I could’ve enjoyed it more if I had picked it up at a different time 🤷🏻♀️
