I love a horror summer camp story so much and this was so good!! I suspected the killer pretty early on but I think everything was set up and executed so well! It kept me invested and I very easily could’ve finished it in one sitting! There were a couple of parts where I got a little confused and had to go back to remember who was being talked about just because there were so many names but by the end, everything made sense and I loved it!

Wow! I loved this book way more than I expected to! It was so touching in a really messy way and it both made me sad and made my heart feel really full 🥺 The time travel aspect was fascinating and I thought it was interesting how it worked in this story! I also loved that at the core of this book, it was about a daughters love for her father and just wanting more time with him 🥺 also Alice’s friendship with Sam was so special and I loved that it was a constant no matter what was changed 🥰 also I need a story about Ursula because I know that cat was time traveling because how was it not only alive for over 25 years but also healthy as can be?? 😂
This isn’t a book that I ever would’ve picked up on my own so I’m very glad that Sarah recommended it to me! Thanks for looking out buddy ♥️

This was fine 🤷🏻♀️ I was honestly quite bored throughout half of it and almost dnf’d a few times but I was curious enough to keep going and I did like the ending so I’m glad I stuck with it! I think my main issue is how fast Ivy & June’s relationship progressed, like it might’ve made more sense if they had been friends or even known each other before meeting but it was literally like they met, they were attracted to each other but they didn’t like each other, then all of a sudden the next time they were alone, they were getting together and I just never fully felt the chemistry between them 🤷🏻♀️ I did really like how the story dived into how grief makes people do things that people don’t understand and how hard it is to live up to expectations that you didn’t choose for yourself! That aspect was done really well and I’d recommend the book just for that but the romance just really fell flat for me personally!

This was really cute!! The deaf, hard of hearing, and blind rep in this was so good and definitely the highlight of the book! I really loved Lilah & Isaac a lot and their chemistry was great 🥰 I also loved all of the friendships that Lilah made and I really loved getting to see Lilah embrace her deafness more and more throughout her summer and how much she was able to start advocating for herself and the people she loves! I did find a couple of situations to be a little unneeded for the plot but besides that this was a really solid YA summer camp book with amazing disability representation! 💙 Also the audiobook was really cool because it was able to distinguish with noise when people were signing versus when people were talking! Also also this just made me want to really focus on learning sign language more than I already did!

This was so sweet!! 🥺 I’ve been wanting to read this on for a while and I’m so glad I finally did!! This was such a fast, fun, emotional, sweet, & moving graphic novel that really covered so much in such a short span! I loved the trans rep especially! I also really loved the art style and went back to many pages just to really look at all the little details! A really great queer graphic novel 🥰

Benny & Harrison are seriously so cute! I’ve been anxiously awaiting this book since FU2 was announced (& Em’s book but I have a while until I’ll get though to that one) and Benny & Emmy were exactly like I expected them to be as college kids! I also thought the plant aspect of Harrison’s storyline was really fun and I loved how nerdy he got with them and how much Benny loved how nerdy he was even though he couldn’t care less about plants! I also really enjoyed getting to see Benny work on himself and get the dyscalculia diagnosis that he needed! And it was just really interesting to learn about dyscalculia because I didn’t even know it existed before this! My only complaint is that a lot of the beginning of this book almost felt exactly like The Hookup Mix-Up so it took me a bit to get into it and also I normally love a queer awakening but I thought Harrison thinking he was straight was kind of a pointless plot point and could’ve easily worked just as well if he knew he was queer before meeting Benny 🤷🏻♀️ other than those things, I loved it and I can’t wait to see how Emmy’s story plays out when I get to his book! 🥰 also adored the glimpse into their future and the bonus short and being able to get more of all of the Daltons ♥️

I expected to love this one and I was right! As someone that hates the original Romeo & Juliet story but is extremely obsessed with most retellings, I’m always looking for more retellings and this one being queer just made it all the better! Besides Romeo & Valentine just being so easy to root for and just a very sweet couple, I also loved the dynamic between Romeo & Juliet in this was so great! I loved the friendship and companionship that they were able to find with each other! Also the addition of Juliet being aroace coded made me so happy 🥺 I also loved that we got a little glimpse into the future at the end! This was just a really great book that I would very much recommend! 🥰

Okay, I actually loved this!! It had me at the edge of my seat literally from the start and kept me guessing until the very end! While there was one point that I was pretty positive I knew who the killer was (and I was right), the author did such a good job at making me constantly second guess myself and also unraveled everything so cleverly! I also did not expect that ending!! Half of me was like “NOOOO” but the other half was like “dang, that was such a good twist!!!” Just very much enjoyed this one from beginning to end!

I liked this a lot but there was something about it that left me with an almost unsatisfied feeling? I think the way the complicated feelings that come with being abused by someone you love and the grief of putting the blame on yourself while also dealing with the shame of keeping it a secret was handled really well and I thought it was really cool how both plot lines connected with that theme! I also loved the dark academia feel of the story and the mystery surrounding the narrow and the school! Maybe I didn’t love the way everything was wrapped up and that’s what left me feeling unsatisfied but I’m honestly not sure! I do think it’s a really solid mystery with a conclusion that actually wrapped everything up but it’s just don’t one that will go onto my favorites list right now!
