Sweet, anxious Murderbot 🥺🥺 I may not be a sci-fi girlie but I loved how character focused this novella was, it made it much easier to follow along! But mainly, I just adore sweet Murderbot 🥰

It’s probably been over 15 years since I read this book and while there were specific scenes I remember vividly, there was a lot about this book that I completely forgot! For a book that came out in 2000, I think this one holds up really well! It was just as emotional and heartbreaking as I remember 🥺

This was so good!! It took me a few chapters to really get into it but once I did, I really loved it! I loved the rivals to lovers aspect, it made their chemistry 🔥 and I especially loved once they were together and past the rivalry, how sweet they were with each other! When Sage stood up for Noah with her family and also stand up for herself with her own family! I also just really loved both Sage and Noah as characters on their own. Sage’s mental health issues were handled so well and so was Noah’s perfectionism. Also the epilogue was SO SWEET!!! 🥺 very much recommend this one!

Okay…. This was fine…? This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and it’s the second sequel of a book I absolutely loved this year that was just really disappointing 🙃 I love Wes & Liz! I would’ve loved to read a sequel where they were happy and enjoying college together (even though I know most people want some kind of drama in a book) and this was the exact opposite of that in every way.

I spent more of this book annoyed than any other emotion. The first 40%, I was so annoyed with Wes (which I hate because I love Wes & wanted his pov of bttm so bad) and just wanting to know how they had gotten to where they were. Then when we finally find out, it’s awful and my heart broke for Wes and I was a little less annoyed but he still wasn’t being honest with Liz. Then, when everything was finally out in the open, I was annoyed all over again because it seemed like he just expected her to be happy to know the truth and then just jump back into things like 2 years hadn’t passed, while at the same time never actually apologizing to her about everything… and okay, I understand why he did what he did and I can’t even imagine the grief and guilt he was dealing with and also all the pressure that was suddenly put on his shoulders but the fact that he made decisions for Liz without even thinking to be honest with her and talk about things just bothered me so much and it was hard for me to get past it. Also, it was annoying that he was so adamant about knowing her but not really making any moves to get to know who she had become, and just expecting her to be the exact same after everything, until she told him he needed to get to know the new version of her 🤦🏻‍♀️

And while I loved that they got their “HEA”, I just kind of wish she would’ve left their story where it was at the end of bttm and just not have given us this book 🤷🏻‍♀️ my rating probably isn’t super accurate for this one because logically it should be lower but I still love Wes & Liz so my heart won’t let me rate it lower than 3.5 stars 😔

This was so good!! I’ve loved all of Diana’s books so I’ve been looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint! I honestly don’t know anything about the Paris catacombs but now I want to learn everything about them. This was thrilling, emotional, terrifying, and really kept me at the edge of my seat! Also, can I just say that I do not understand why anyone would ever go anywhere with someone they don’t know but I really don’t understand why you would go somewhere underground AND in a foreign country with someone you don’t know… like you’re just asking to get murdered 🤷🏻‍♀️

My only thing was that I would’ve like a little more at the end but besides that this book was truly a wild ride and I really enjoyed it! Also, this is another one that I think would be great adapted for screen!

This was really good!! I loved how the classic horror tropes were turned on their heads and was constantly changing to make the story more interesting! I also just really loved the whole cast of characters and how much they all loved each other! I wasn’t super surprised by the twist but it was really interesting how it all played out! I would really love to see a movie or mini series adaptation of this book because I think it would translate really well to screen!

I absolutely loved They Hate Other so I’ve been very excited for this book but I was also nervous because sometimes I just don’t love an authors second book as much as I did the first one but y’all this book is SO FREAKING GOOD!! Like I really really loved it!! It was sweet and funny and emotional and heartbreaking and heartwarming and so much in between! I absolutely loved both Emma & Caleb so much and was invested in both of them from the very start. I also adored Juliet so much (especially with the reveal at the end ((I 100% guessed it really early on too))) and I loved Caleb’s mom, Liz, & Alice too!

One of my favorite things about Amanda’s books is how complex they are! Both this book & theo deal with really heavy topics (really well, I might add) but they’re mixed with humor and self deprecation and so much love that they’re impossible to put down! I just really loved every single thing about this book and highly recommend it! Will definitely be making my list of favorite books for the year 🩵

This was a really great memoir! I’ve been meaning to read it since it came out 2 years ago because I’ve been following Tom’s career since I was a teenager and I’m glad I finally got to it! It was both empowering and heartbreaking throughout! As someone that’s never been a big athlete, it was very interesting to see what kinds of things Tom has put his body through to be able to dive! It was also heartbreaking to hear in his own words the way that he has been treated since coming out, especially after him and Lance had Robbie! But it was wonderful how much support he had at the same time from his family and friends ♥️ just a very engaging read and Tom narrating the audiobook himself made it even better!
