I really enjoyed this!! I’m still in the mindset that surviving the apocalypse is not worth it lol but I loved how positive the ending of this one was! I also loved that it was a quick this was but it was still a really fleshed out world! I would be very interested to read other stories in this world too!

This book was so beautiful 🥺 I had high expectations after We Could Be So Good and it did not disappoint! I loved both Mark & Eddie so much, individually and together! They made each other so happy, despite the odds and the things they were both dealing with and it was just really beautiful to see them both choose each other and choose happiness! 💙

I went into this one expecting it to be an easy 5 stars but while I did really like it, it ended up being a 4 star read! I do think if I had read it at a different time so I’ll like to revisit it eventually! The imagery was incredible and disturbing and disgusting, at times! Which really helped with the character development (especially Andrew) and I really loved that about this book! I love a good horror story and the atmosphere of this book was so perfectly done! I think overall, I was just really tired while I was reading the first half so it had me zoning in and out. But I would recommend it, especially for the ace rep!

I didn’t love this one as much as Sunny Disposition but I did really like it! Aderyn & Sam had sizzling chemistry from the start and I also enjoyed their softer moments of getting to know each other! The brunch was my favorite part! Overall, a very solid book with loveable characters! ☺️

While this book had a slow start, once the story got going, I loved every second of it! Becky’s books are always just so easy to fall into and lose yourself in and it’s the best always! I loved Amelia, I related a little too hard to the parasocial relationship aspect 😅, I loved this friend group, and I loved seeing the Imogen crew again and for the two groups coming together. Just really enjoyed it! 🥰

I love literally everything that Racquel writes so I wasn’t surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I’m weird with apocalypse stories because I just cannot understand the mindset of wanting to survive that and I still don’t get it but I loved this take on it! Maybe it’s because I could understand Flora on a very personal level with the ocd and anxiety that basically consumed her life. It was fascinating to read a story about survival from the perspective of someone that has spent their whole life trying to control their fear of death and now having to deal with the very real nightmare of the end of the world. Just a fantastic story, with the perfect open ending (everyone will probably not agree with me on that one though) and a really messy but lovable cast of characters! Also very much recommend the audiobook, Racquel’s narration was so good!

I tried to read this book a few years ago and couldn’t get past the first chapter but I always wanted to try again eventually and honestly, I would’ve been perfectly content to not 😅 while this story had a lot of potential, there was really not much I enjoyed about how any of it was executed. I think maybe if it was in Kaivan’s pov, it would’ve been more interesting but idk. Hunter was just annoying and while I’m glad things worked out better for him in the end, I just didn’t enjoy being in his head 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also just didn’t feel any kind of real connection between Hunter & Kaivan so I wasn’t really rooting for them either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh my god, y’all this book is incredible 😭 like the kind of book that makes me question other books I’ve rated 5 stars recently because none of them come close to how good this one is 😅 Jonny is one of those authors that I don’t think it’s possible for me to love a new book as much as I loved their last but they prove me wrong every time! I honestly don’t even have the words to explain how much I loved this right now but wow, wow, wow! Incredible, highly recommend!!!

I loved almost every single thing about this book! It pretty much had me at “Booksmart meets Phantom of the Megaplex” and it very much lived up to that! I loved Rochelle & Amira as well as all of the side characters! Everyone felt so fleshed out and I would honestly love to read even more books in this world! The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the reveal at the end. It wasn’t shocking at all and was just disappointing 🤷🏻‍♀️ but besides that, I really loved this and would very much recommend!!

Oh, I loved this so much 🥺 I’ve had this book on my shelf since the day it was released and just kept putting it off (as I seem to do a lot 😅) and I have no idea why because this was the easiest 5 stars I’ve given in awhile! I loved Karina, I loved getting to see her slowly start believing in herself and living for herself instead of living for everyone else’s approval! I also really loved how realistic that journey was too and how it didn’t end up with everything being tied together with a neat bow because it felt real and messy and she was just really brave for even being able to do any of the things she wanted. I adored Ace, he was so sweet and just exactly what Karina needed! I loved that he always respected her boundaries, especially because he didn’t fully understand her family dynamic and all the things she was struggling with. I loved that he was there when she needed him but also knew when she needed space. I also loved how Karina’s other relationships were portrayed as well especially how supportive her grandmother was and how she was able to work on her relationship with her brother! Just overall, really really loved this one!!
