yes i'm biased. who cares! this is an odd comfort character of mine getting the break and backstory he deserves
been a good month for kinda evil dark haired ya boys in my books, but this time around, it's a prince of hell :-) we upgrade each time!
anyways this was a wild ride . the ending left a lot for the imagination and im rooting for the main character to get her vengeance hehe

i really tried like... i was so close to the end but jesus fucking christ was i was not paying any attention at that point.
i'm sorry miss addie "7 freckles in the shape of stars" larue, but you are NOT worth slogging through repetitive writing, bland love interests, weird loopholes that do not add up, and a character who has lived for 300 years, yet had not had a single personality switch-up. i'm such a different person to how i was like 6 months ago, yet addie hasn't changed in the slightest after three centuries? confusion luv
one enjoying aspect was her determination, i guess. there was that spark she felt to leave her mark and i could really relate to that feeling. but besides that... yeah no
not even the side characters or love interests did it for me and usually they're the saving grace. henry was interesting to begin with, but eventually, even he got stale. and luc.. you're embarrassing my other bad book boys
anyways that's enough of this book! if you want a good v.e schwab book, read anything but this one lol.

and if this reigns as one of my favourite sequels, what then? holy shit this was so amazing and fast-paced and challenging, i was nervous the whole way through.
