you ever just feel yourself lose braincells while reading a book? and some of your resolve as well if the book was highly anticipated.

yeah that's me during this book because jesus fucking christ, did any of that make sense? either i'm a huge dumbass or this was the most nonsensical fantasy i've ever read.

sapphics tho,,, ugh she couldve been EVERYTHING to me, yet not even the sapphics coild save it. im just as sad as anyone seeing this review, truly.

this was Good

i read this solely on the recommendation of a friend (shout out if you clicked this link from twitter, thank u for the gift again ♥️) and i really appreciate it

there were issues, things that made me a little uncomfortable or parts that had my eyebrows raising, but besides that, it kept me hooked and i was truly interested in seeing how her and her family's life progressed

this was real predictable but hawke got me feeling incredibly goofy

snooze fest for like 75% of the book, but then it got interesting at the end, and am i intrigued for the next one? a little. but i will be reading it, why? because i can't stop myself [cue twice]
