The actual story of the Princess Bride was maybe a 2.5 or 3 of 5. However, the cutesy way William Goldman writes himself into the book drove me insane. He was a shallow husband and not a great writer. I know it’s supposed to be satire but that was rough reading. Couldn’t wait to get done with it.

Couldn’t get into the book. I read it once in junior high but it didn’t capture me the same now that I’m 24. Maybe I’ll try again some day.
