The actual story of the Princess Bride was maybe a 2.5 or 3 of 5. However, the cutesy way William Goldman writes himself into the book drove me insane. He was a shallow husband and not a great writer. I know it’s supposed to be satire but that was rough reading. Couldn’t wait to get done with it.
