It was so good 😭😭 the
Raven poem being woven throughout was so creative!
I love that she tied in
the covey, Burdock, “sweetheart” and so much more!
I cannot wait for the movie. My only critique is that the epilogue goes into
him meeting Katniss and Peeta so that makes it hard to read in chronological order bc of spoilers.
But other than that, amazing!!

A really fun world with excellent character building. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep reading after the first book, but this second one definitely made me want to continue the series. The biggest detraction for me is the spice, as I don’t like that in books. Another reason the book didn’t score higher was that none of the foul language made sense. This is an invented world, with different races, and different languages. There are passages of fantastic language that are completely ruined with a modern day. English curse word. I think it’s lazy writing.
The true identity of Prosper Beck took me by surprise in the best way

I absolutely do not buy the enemies to lovers trope. They do not love each other, they are infatuated at best. Ugh

It was fun to hear the original story and how it Wicked and the Wizard of Oz movies differ from it. Simply written but a fun story!
