I liked it. Would have liked it more if I could figure out what was going on...

I don't like superhero stories usually, but I loved this. It plays with the parts of the concept that most interest me

Super informative. I especially liked how the author got into the many reasons why queer people might feel drawn to or participate with some of these types. 

Returned to this after a DNF from getting distracted and really enjoyed it this time. The grandmother character as contrasted to the uncle character gave me some feelings. 

Ok so we have a fully fleshed out pantheon, a competition and underdog narrative, and overhanging moral dilemma, themes including parenthood and power, and a really easy to read style. 

Not much here was memorable

Such a fun adventure story with some serious themes to consider as well

A good bit of science writing, clever and full of imagery. It manages to be accurate without being too obtuse.
